White Tara Newari painting (traditionally known as a Paubha) is a sacred Nepalese art form that blends strict Buddhist iconography with the exquisite artistic heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. Rendered using delicate brushwork, organic mineral pigments, and fine gold leaf accents, these paintings depict White Tara—the Bodhisattva of compassion, long life, and healing—seated in a serene meditative posture atop a lotus throne.
