White Tara (Drolkar), a major deity in Tibetan Buddhism revered as a manifestation of divine compassion, longevity, healing, and serene wisdom. Seated gracefully in the full lotus posture (padmasana) atop a colorful lotus base, she is distinguished by her luminous white skin and seven eyes—located on her face, forehead, palms, and the soles of her feet—symbolizing her all-seeing vigilance over the suffering of all beings. Her right hand extends downward over her knee in the varada mudra (gesture of generosity and grant-giving), while her left hand is held near her heart in the vitarka mudra (gesture of teaching), holding the stem of a blossoming white lotus (utpala). Elaborately adorned with a golden crown, beaded jewelry, flowing blue silk scarves, and framed by a soft halo, she sits against a tranquil landscape of muted hills, embodying perfect peace and spiritual purity.
