Dukkar, "White umbrella", a powerful protective deity in Vajrayana Buddhism associated with averting obstacles, evil influences, and illness. She is portrayed in her thousand-faced and thousand-armed form, featuring a high stack of multi-colored faces topped by a golden parasol symbol, with her primary hands holding a long staff topped by a white parasol/victory banner and a wisdom wheel. Surrounding her central body is an immense, radiant halo formed by hundreds of outstretched arms radiating outward within a fiery aureole, while beneath her feet, she tramples negative forces, harmful spirits, and sentient afflictions. The top of the canvas features Buddha Shakyamuni on the left and Green Tara on the right seated on lotus thrones amidst celestial clouds, while the bottom is guarded by three wrathful protector deities framed in blazing flames, all set against a tranquil landscape of mountains, rivers, and floral lotus offerings.
